DFL firmware commands
However, you can also use firmware commands to apply an authorization key, which must be done in some rare cases.
For example:
authorize service - displays the device key, which is entered into the web portal by Kodak internal staff, such as a CEC agent, to obtain the matching authorization key
authorize service <key> - enables the authorization in the firmware with the authorization key given by the web portal from the device key.
The rest of the commands for the other authorization types follow the same pattern:
authorize device - displays the device key
authorize device <key> - performs the authorization using the given key
authorize head - displays the device key
authorize head <key> - performs the authorization using the given key
authorize downgrade - displays the device key
authorize downgrade <key> - performs the authorization using the given key
authorize time - displays the device key
authorize time <key> - performs the authorization using the given key
